What we build

WooCommerce development services

Most of our WooCommerce work falls into three jobs: building a new webshop, fixing a cart and checkout that lose orders or connecting WooCommerce to the tools you already use. As a WooCommerce agency for Dutch and Belgian shops, we plan payments, shipping rules and languages for both markets from day one.

See the full build in our WooCommerce checkout funnel for Products for Home, and the tactics behind it in how to increase average order value in WooCommerce. Thinking about Shopify instead? Read about our WooCommerce to Shopify migration service.

Custom WooCommerce webshop development

We build WooCommerce webshops on WordPress with a component library your team can reuse, so a new landing page does not need a developer. Products for Home runs on a custom Bricks library of 42 elements, built around its Greek honey, olive oil and drinks catalogue.

  • Custom builds in Bricks or Elementor
  • Product pages with volume pricing
  • Shipping rules for NL and BE
  • Multilingual shops with WPML

Side cart and average order value

A side cart keeps shoppers on the page and shows how far they are from free delivery. Products for Home's side cart carries a free-shipping progress bar set per country: €60 for the Netherlands and €70 for Belgium.

  • Side cart built with FunnelKit
  • Free-shipping bar per country
  • Cross-sells and volume discounts
  • Cart events tracked in GA4

WooCommerce checkout optimisation

The checkout is where the order is won or lost. For Products for Home we built a FunnelKit checkout with an order bump, three one-click extras and five payment methods: iDEAL/Wero, PayPal, Bancontact, Klarna and bol.checkout. Result: 40%+ more sales from the checkout funnel (AvixDigital project data, 2026).

  • FunnelKit checkout funnels
  • Order bumps and one-click extras
  • iDEAL, Bancontact and Klarna via Mollie
  • Sendcloud, PostNL and MyParcel shipping

Who it's for

Built for Dutch and Belgian webshops

Who it's for: Dutch and Belgian brands with roughly €0.5M–€10M in revenue that sell on WooCommerce, want more from the traffic they already have and have no in-house developer. You might need a new webshop, a better checkout or a WooCommerce developer who stays after launch. Not a fit if you want to leave WordPress altogether; our WooCommerce to Shopify migration service covers that move.

Every build has a fixed scope and a fixed price, with weekly demos, and you own the code. Webshops start from €2,500 excl. VAT; your fixed quote follows the scoping call. See our pricing.

  • Checkouts that convert

FunnelKit funnels, side carts and order bumps, tested on mobile. It is the setup behind 40%+ more sales from Products for Home's checkout funnel (AvixDigital project data, 2026).

  • Dutch and Belgian payments

iDEAL/Wero, Bancontact, Klarna and PayPal, with shipping through Sendcloud, PostNL or MyParcel and separate rules for NL and BE.

  • Code you own

A custom Bricks or Elementor build, documented and handed over at launch. You own the code, so you are never tied to us.

How we work

How we build your
WooCommerce shop

  1. 01

    Scope & fixed quote

Week 1: we review your catalogue, plugins, hosting, payments and shipping, then agree templates, integrations and scope in writing.

  2. 02

    Design & prototype

Weeks 2–3: we design the product page, cart and checkout first, because that is where orders are won, and you approve them before the build.

  3. 03

    Build with weekly demos

Weeks 3–7: we build on a staging site and demo progress every week. Payments run in test mode, and we place test orders for NL and BE.

  4. 04

    Launch & handover

Week 8: we go live and check orders, emails, tracking and redirects. Then we hand over the code, logins and documentation. You own all of it.

WooCommerce questions, answered

Answers to what Dutch and Belgian shop owners ask before a WooCommerce project: price, timing, checkout, payments and how we work.

How much does a WooCommerce webshop cost?

WooCommerce webshops start from €2,500 excl. VAT. The price depends on the number of templates, product types, languages, payment and shipping setup and integrations such as an ERP or accounting system. Paid plugins like FunnelKit and your hosting are separate. You get a fixed quote after the scoping call; our pricing page shows the starting points.

How long does a WooCommerce project take?

A typical webshop goes live in 6–8 weeks. Work on the cart and checkout alone is shorter, while large catalogues or multilingual shops can take longer. The timeline is part of the fixed quote, and the weekly demos show you where we are.

Can you improve our existing WooCommerce checkout?

Yes. We first look at where shoppers drop out in GA4, then rebuild the cart and checkout with FunnelKit or custom code: side cart, free-shipping bar, order bumps and fewer form fields. For Products for Home, this work brought 40%+ more sales from the checkout funnel (AvixDigital project data, 2026). Your result depends on your traffic and offer.

Which payment and shipping options do you set up for NL and BE?

For Dutch and Belgian shops we set up iDEAL/Wero, Bancontact, Klarna, PayPal and cards through Mollie or the payment provider you prefer. Products for Home offers five methods, including bol.checkout. For shipping we connect Sendcloud, PostNL, DHL or MyParcel, with separate rates and free-shipping thresholds per country.

Who owns the code?

You do. The theme, custom elements and any plugins we write are yours from launch, together with the logins and documentation. If you bring development in-house later, your team takes over a codebase it can read.

How do the weekly demos work?

Every week we show you the shop on a staging site: what is finished, what comes next and what we need from you. You click through it yourself and test the checkout with test payments. Feedback goes into the next week's work; anything outside the agreed scope gets a price before we start it.

Can a team in Bangladesh support a Dutch webshop?

Yes. Our engineer-led team of 10+ works from Bangladesh, a few hours ahead of CET, so part of our working day overlaps with Dutch office hours for calls and demos, with written updates in between. Calls are in English. Products for Home, which sells in the Netherlands and Belgium, is one of the shops we keep improving.

Should we stay on WooCommerce or move to Shopify?

Stay on WooCommerce if you rely on WordPress content, custom plugins or full control of your hosting. Shopify suits teams that want less upkeep and hosting included. We build on both, so we compare your plugins, costs and team before advising. Our WooCommerce to Shopify migration service covers the move if it makes sense.
